The predecessor of this Palace Hotel is “Hotel Tate” which opened as a state-owned state-owned hotel dedicated to buyers under the direction of GHQ (Allied Command Command).
The hotel Tate, which was renovated the facility of the former Teijin Forestry Bureau Office (predecessor of the Forestry Agency) and opened in 1947, was later rebuilt as a Palace Hotel.
