Vilnius’ newest museum is a must for modern art lovers and those interested in seeing works by modern and contemporary Lithuanian artists. Designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, the MO Museum is a work of modern art in itself and has already won several architecture prizes.
Visitors can explore exhibitions of modern Lithuanian art that reflect a broad range of styles and ideas, as well as the main processes and developments in Lithuanian art over the last 60 years.
The majority of the artists represented in the collection are still active today and are recognised both in Lithuania and abroad. The exhibitions change regularly to reflect different artists and themes. Visitors can also attend film screenings, educational activities, concerts, and events for all age groups.
