The Fex Valley has been under nature protection since 1954.
Public transport into the valley is severely restricted as well as building new houses.
The horse-drawn carriages contribute to the idyllic scene of the valley. Here stands, on a sunny meadow terrace,the white mountain church of Fex Crasta as a symbol of peace and tranquility and is looking far down into the valley on our “inn to the golden sun”, as it was called in one of our first brochures around 1910.
