With its beautiful Belle Epoque façade and superb location at the heart of Nice overlooking Place Masséna, the Promenade des Anglais and the palm-fringed Mediterranean Sea, Hotel Plaza has been one of the city’s most notable landmarks since its opening in 1850. Now part of The Dedica Anthology, Hotel Plaza is currently closed for a transformative 18-month renovation which includes reducing the number of rooms and suites from 172 to 153 – well over half of which have inspiring sea views. Hotel Plaza’s famous panoramic rooftop terrace is being completely redesigned by David Collins Studio London to become a year-round destination for all-day relaxed bistro chic dining. A new spa and fitness centre are also under development. When it reopens in July 2020 with its spacious rooms and public areas, Hotel Plaza will reclaim its historic position as an emblem of luxury hospitality and the sociable hub of the Côte d’Azur.
