About the Edmonton Convention Centre

Inspired by Edmonton, the Edmonton Convention Centre houses the spirit of Canada’s fifth largest city and connects a thriving, downtown metropolis to North America’s largest urban parkland. Recognized as one of North America’s top five performing venues by the International Association of Venue Mangers (2018), the centre brings people together to learn, innovate, trade and celebrate. With GBAC Star Facility accreditation, event planning expertise, sustainable operations and a world-class culinary experience, the Edmonton Convention Centre is home to events of all types, including conventions, banquets, meetings, trade shows, concerts, weddings and major events. The Edmonton Convention Centre has an astonishing 150,000 square feet of customizable space. Choose between the stunning Hall D space that hosts an amazing 1,000 seated guests, the iconic Riverview room for 75 to 140 people and the adaptable salon ballrooms with capacity for 150 to 450 guests. With a reputation for world-class service, they provide event planning, catering and bar, set-up and tear down and in-house suppliers that are ready to impress you.

Anyone who has dined at Edmonton’s convention centre knows the farm to table dining experience speaks for itself. Named 2012 Canadian Chef of the Year, Executive Chef Serge Belair leads a renowned culinary team of 11 Red Seal chefs. The culinary team creates every dish in-house with food grown by the community, for the community.
