The new 4-star Dorint Airport-Hotel Zurich, just two kilometres away from Zurich airport, was voted the most innovative design concept by the architecture magazine “AIT”. Shaped in the form of a Swiss cross, the new hotel with its 235 rooms and suites and a huge range of event rooms is particularly aimed at business travellers and companies who wish to benefit from its easily accessible location close to the airport and only 500 m from the nearest motorway connection. One restaurant “Basilico” for up to 180 persons including private dining room for up to 12 persons, summer terrace for up to 80 persons in the large garden area, spacious lobby bar, international and regional cuisine. The large “Airbus” convention room, 2 conference rooms, 4 meeting rooms and 4 syndicate rooms on the first floor (rooms with connecting door to conference rooms) all feature ample natural daylight, air conditioning and barrier-free access, and can be darkened as required. They offer a capacity for 6 to 180 persons.
