How it all began
Dorchester Collection was founded in 2006 to manage a portfolio of some of the world’s foremost luxury hotels in Europe and the United States. Dorchester Collection hotels are all legendary in their own right, with rich heritages and worldwide reputations as places offering the best and most sought-after experiences of good living, charm, elegance and unparalleled standards of service.

An exciting new addition to the collection will open in Dubai in 2020.

The Beverly Hills Hotel was built two years before the city of Beverly Hills was founded and Hôtel Plaza Athénée was the reason behind Christian Dior opening his first boutique in 1946 on avenue Montaigne. At Le Meurice, also in Paris, Salvador Dalí would stay for months at a time, leading to the hotel’s distinctive surrealistic design. The Dorchester’s Oliver Messel Suite was created by the eponymous theatre designer and remains one of the most celebrated hotel suites in London.
