In the heart of France, the Chateau de Saint Augustin has been rebuild at the beginning of the 18th century by Michel Cadier, first baron of Veauce and ancestor of the present owner. The baron of Veauce made of Saint-Augustin his main hunting rendez-vous and was coming here three months a year just for hunting. Later, at the 19th century, the count Chaillon de Jonville transformed Saint-Augustin in a comfortable castle. Today, the Château of Saint-Augustin is listed, inside and outside, by the Monuments Historiques of France, and the chapel, the honor court are listed as well. Actually, it is one of the most important historical monuments of the region Bourbonnais.
