Casa Andina Premium Arequipa was built on what used to be the “Casa de la Moneda” (Mint House), a national historic landmark. Originally built in 1550, the house was remodeled in 1794, and after a long restoration process finally again in 2007 it became the marvelous hotel that we know today. This last remodeling process revealed gold leaf murals, reliefs, and a beautiful chapel that had been hidden for years. The strategic location, infraestructure and services that the hotel oers allow you to experience the history, culture and gastronomy of the “Ciudad Blanca” (White City) like no other place.
