One of the first inns in America, a jewel of the Mexican baroque, has been converted into a Boutique Hotel in Cortés, in the heart of the Historic Center of Mexico City, where every corner is a must-see and a cause for surprise within our great city.
Our passion for service, taste for detail and hospitality, harmonize the satisfaction of the five senses, through music, gastronomy, the perception of aromas, fine textures and visual impact.
The building is believed to have been born in the early 17th century, and a few years later the order of Saint Augustine made it one of the first inns in America, where the friars of the order were staying after embarking for the Christianization of the Philippines. In 1780, the building was adapted as it says on our facade and was baptized as the Hostería de Santo Tomás de Villanueva. From here, the building is proud to have lived each and every one of the key moments that mark the history of our city.
