Literally a few steps beyond the hotel entrance is the caldera rim, offering magnificent views of the cliff face and the volcano, especially at sunset. Recently entirely renovated (2007-2008), 48 elegant guest rooms decorated in warm earth tones, enhanced by satin-finish wooden furniture and a hint of opulence in the fabrics of curtains and bedspreads. The Aressana strives to provide every amenity and refinement expected of a De Luxe Category hotel. The public areas of the hotel were totally redesigned in winter 2007-2008 by leading Greek architect Dimitris Tsitsos. The distinctive eclectic minimalism creates a calm relaxing ambience, conducive to a feeling of well-being.
