Built in 1832 Adare Manor is one of Ireland’s Leading 5 star castle resorts. Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Adare, Co. Limerick on the Wild Atlantic Way and sits neatly on the gateway to south west coast of Ireland just a 30 minute transfer from Shannon International Airport, 1.5 hours from Cork Airport & 2 hours from Dublin airport. Both Shannon & Dublin Airport offer Pre Clearance facilities to passengers travelling to the USA. Once the private Estate of Lord & Lady Dunraven, Adare Manor opened as a luxury hotel in 1988 and is a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World, which is one of the largest luxury hotel collections in the world. In January 2016 Adare Manor closed its doors & embarked on an extensive refurbishment & development project & reopened in November 2017. This major refurbishment enhanced all areas of the resort, the construction of an additional bedroom wing added extra bedrooms all exceeding 538 square feet (50 square metres) in size & a number of exquisite suites bringing the total room count to 104 bedrooms all with AC ranging from 334-1,055 square feet (31-98 square metres). Each bedroom has a complimentary soft drinks mini bar, WIFI & In Room with one remote, controlling everything from your blinds, lights, temperature to even your wake up calls. The resort also boasts luxurious Two, Three & Four Bedroom Lodges for longer stays. There are three bars & restaurants serving casual & fine dining options throughout the day. The enhancements in the Castle also include a new boardroom and cinema. The addition of a splendid new ballroom has the capacity of 350 people catering for weddings, events and international conferences. This room is 4,823 Square Feet (448 square metres) & is divisible by 3 for smaller events. There was also a complete transformation of the Carriage House Bar & Restaurant which reopened in April 2018.
