From its stunning scenery and enchanting coastline to towns steeped in ancient history, you will be sure to have many breath-taking moments where you are left in total awe. With an abundance of amazing food and unique culinary experiences such as oyster catching and truffle hunting you will be sure to have an experience unlike no other. Whilst still relatively undiscovered, Croatia is definitely a destination on the rise for events. It may take a little convincing for some of your client’s but I can assure you that it is one that they will never regret. Good value for money and great weather combined with unparalleled views and a wide variety cultural adventures - but wait there’s more. Discover the mountainous regions with rolling hills somewhat similar to Tuscany in the Istrian Peninsula, island hop across the many different Croatian islands, explore Roman ruins in Pula and Split and explore the walled city of Dubrovnik awash with old forts and cobbled streets that will leave you feeling like you’re in Game of Thrones (oh wait you are)! There is a seamless blend of old and new, with an array of exquisite historical venues and palaces for private events through to ultra-modern hotels and restaurants. There is truly something for all groups from larger incentives to smaller niche groups you will find a programme and hotel to suit. I mean it’s not often that you can combine multiple countries in an incentive trip but with Bosnia and Montenegro on Croatia’s doorstep you also have the opportunity to create an unimaginable multi-destination trip. Suppliers are willing to consider crazy requests, such as a land vs sea race along the Dalmatian coast but remember it is still a developing meetings and events destination and industry. Ensure that you use reputable and trusted suppliers and spend time to explain your programme and what exactly you are trying to achieve, as it’s likely that they have never done it before, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t!
