The Grand Hotel Seeschlösschen is the first house on the square in Timmendorfer Strand. This privately run hotel is located directly on the sea and is the only hotel in the Timmendorfer Strand, classified as a 5-star superior hotel. The golf course opened in 1973 in Timmendorfer Strand was designed by the renowned golf course architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger and is the largest golf course in Schleswig Holstein with 36 holes. The 2 x 18 holes golf course, subdivided into north and south course, is today one of the most popular and famous golf courses in northern Germany. It is an attraction for golfers of all levels and very popular with a variety of guests from both domestic and foreign countries. The new driving range “Players Lodge” is unique in Schleswig-Holstein because it has heated pitch places on two levels. On the second floor is a lounge area “Players Room” with its own bar and a sensational view over the driving range. The “Players Lodge” is also suitable for events of all kinds, whether it is for children’s birthdays, anniversaries, company incentives or bachelor parties.
